MyCar is a new free resource that’s designed to help you track maintenance, understand the market value and check for safety recalls for each of your cars. We’ll be adding even more tools and features so that owning and managing your cars becomes simpler.
Can I use MyCar to manage any car?
Almost! You can load most vehicles to MyCar. At this time, you cannot load the following brands: Subaru, Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Maserati and McLaren.
How will I benefit from using MyCar?
Once you enter the necessary information about your cars into MyCar, you’ll recoup time you may have spent using multiple resources to access maintenance schedules, check for recalls and monitor estimated values. We’ll collect all of that information here for you. MyCar is your hub to access a variety of car ownership resources.
Why is Chase offering MyCar?
MyCar is just one of the ways we’re working hard to be a good financial partner to our customers. We’re here to help you manage your money and make informed financial decisions. Your car is an asset that we want to help you manage by anticipating maintenance needs and understanding its estimated value in the market.
Do I need a Chase auto loan or lease to use MyCar?
No. You just need to have an online Chase account to register a car with MyCar.
I have a Chase auto loan - why don't I see my car?
We update the site twice a day, from approximately 11:30 to 11:40 p.m. and from 12:40 to 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time. If you don't see your car, please check back again later. Or, if you'd prefer, you can manually load your car by providing the details or taking a picture of the license plate with your phone and uploading it. Existing MyCar site features and benefits will be available during this time.
Does MyCar apply to purchased and leased cars?
Yes. You can add most cars in your household to MyCar, whether they’re purchased, leased or paid off. At this time, you cannot load the following brands: Subaru, Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Maserati and McLaren.
Is there a fee for using MyCar?
No, there is no cost to you for using MyCar.
Can MyCar help me manage multiple cars?
Yes! You can use MyCar to keep track of multiple eligible cars and have all the information you need in one spot. For example, if you want to help your son in college and another family member manage their cars, you can add their cars to MyCar.
What personal information will I need to share and how will Chase use it?
Once you sign in to your Chase account, we’ll ask you to “Add a car” to MyCar by providing either a vehicle identification number (VIN) or a license plate number and state. We’ll use your VIN or license plate to provide you with information that is specific to your car. We will not sell the information that you provide.
